Thats one of those Uber rare "textured" dashes that only came in the early 31 Henway models, right?

I am suprised they were able to blast it without blowing holes in it. Wow, it should have gone to their scrap iron pile, worth more that way. Rod

This is the rare late 31 Australian instrument panel, which is why it seems upside down to us here in the northern hemisphere.

See what happens when you offer free listings.

Here is a generator that must have come from the same car.

While viewing the ebay item (or whatever you want to link to) just left click on the address bar at the top, so it is highlighted in blue, then right click on "COPY" and come back to Fordbarn. Inside the message box right click so you get the drop down menu, and click on "PASTE", and the link will be here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/151097872342...#ht_655wt_1285

BTW, for that much money I would have sold the mint original out of my 1928.

Heck, I would have sold my whole gas tank.

Many years ago when I started my first restoration I enlisted in a panel beating course at the local college. I took an old Model T front mudguard along as my first project. When the instructor saw what I had he asked me what was I intending to do with it. I replied, I was hoping that you might teach me how to rebuild it. I asked if it was repairable. He said, Son everything is rebuildable. How much Cash and time do you have. My advice to you is take it home and find a nice quite spot in your garden, dig a hole and give it a dignified burial.
I didn't take his advice, instead I did restore it and it is still on my Model T Ford 35 years later.
At the end of the 12 week course he offered me a job as a panel beater. Regretably I didn't take him up on his offer. He was a talented and well respected old school tradesman.

But he does include free shipping.

I need to look around my shop for some "rarities".
