Default 28-29 Roadster tack rail

I folded the top irons down and they hit the wood side tack rail.
Can someone take a measurement from the door jamb to the forward end of the tack rail. Should I trim these a little bit narrower too ?

Where your red line is located will be about 11.250". Between the Top Iron tabs is 48.500". It is very possible your Top Bows are too short which will cause the entire assembly to be too narrow.
