Window trim removal
Hello everyone! Question, how in the world do I get the side window trim off, so that I can get at the weather strip, and I think I have to get that out so I can remove the upholstery. Am I correct in that thinking?

Re: Window trim removal
Not quite sure what you are asking. To remove the window trim on the front door you just remove all the screws. I don't know if that answers your question. Gary

Re: Window trim removal
The metal trim piece has to be removed on the Leatherback sedan ,
All screws need to be taken out it is a very tight fit, Be careful not to damage paint a little push from side to side is best, Then the door handle and window winder have to come off, I had a pin on the shafts holding mine on , A pin punch or a special tool is best to remove them The door panel is tacked on ,be careful prying that off if you want to reuse it. It should stop the rattle on the windows when done John Cochran |
