Default '40 coupe - column directional signals

I am adding directional signals with switch on the steering column. It has seven locations, parking lights, taillights, etc

Does the positive - ground cause problem?

comments ?

thank you,

On my 6 volt 39, I tied into existing (parking lights in front - tail/brake in rear) lights, with seven wire switch. Positive ground did not matter. Make sure you get right flasher.

Install a beeper to remind you signals are on, unless it is self cancelling. Small one (1/2 inch is plenty big)

20 gauge wire is plenty big. Don't waste money on larger wire.
