Default Trunk Handle Key Spins

I can't lock my trunk ('31 Coupe). One key that came with the car can turn 90 deg and the other key just spins. Can a locksmith fix this or should I just buy a new handle with keys?

go to the sticky at the top of the page and send the handle to dick crabtree
sounds like the cylinder is broken
it will need a new cylinder
(unless its an aftermarket handle ,)

I called Dick Crabtree and was going to send the handle to him, but when I took out the latch assembly I saw it was broken and have ordered a new one.

What screws hold the latch assembly in place? My car has one countersunk & one round head. The JS doesn't say.
