'40 coupe bumper questions..

what is the distance from the front bumper to the grille ?

what is the distance from the rear bumper to the back of the trunk ?

On a standard or a deluxe on the front?

On my DeLuxe it's 4 1/2 in. measured horizontally to center bar of the grille from top edge of bumper.
The rear horizontal measurement from top edge of bumper directly to the trunk pan is 9 7/8.
Any body work may effect this measurement. Both of my bumpers are original.

It would seem logical that both these distances could vary a little depending on "springiness' in bumper braces and car assembly fit.
