The people that run the "show" are top notch and do a fabulous job with the organized chaos on the streets. Hotels are going to be difficult to find closer to the show so reserve early.
Sometimes shows become victims of there own sucess. Imagine 2000 cars trying to drive on the streets. The 25.00 helps keep the numbers down. As more people feel the 25.00 is a good deal the price WILL go up. Again, it will go up to keep the number of cars down and at some point the price will be such that only the well off will attend with their cars.

Go now while it is aFORDable.

I have not been to the Festival but after hearing these comments it will go on my calendar of things to do in the future.

We did go to the Museum and Greenfield Village a couple of years ago and would go back again. Especially to Greenfield Village! You won't believe what is there. Lots of Ford stuff but also Edison's Lab, the Wright brothers' shop, homes of famous people, etc. Not replicas, the ACTUAL buildings have been moved in! You can walk around or get a pass that lets you take unlimited rides on one of the many modes of transportation they furnish, like Model A bus, Model T car, railroad, horse drawn trolleys, but no skateboards!

We stayed at the Dearborn Inn where all of Henry's friends stayed and it is in top shape and top shelf quality. No more expensive than other lesser hotels because you get two days of Museum and Greenfield tickets included.

The one thing I wouldn't do again was to take the standard Rouge plant tour. A little section of the assembly line, Video monitor presentations of the past and a 'green' presentation. Very disappointing. From what Ken Ehrenhofer said above, it sounds like the tours available during the Festival are much, much better.

And $25 to get your Model A into the Festival sounds really cheap. You can't get a swap space at a country meet for that!
