Default 37 grille & hood trim

Stole this pic off an old thread movie car thread. I have never seen this trim on a 37 before, anyone have any?

I have not seen trim like that before on a 37. Looks like it was designed by the same guy that did the trim on your avatar.

Could it be this?...

Eastern Custom catalog from 1949 offered several components to create custom vertical grilles.

Here is a 1937 Ford Cabriolet with some kind of hood, grille, side panels treatment similar to the car in the advertisement. This is a screen shot from the 1945/46 Warner Bros film The Big Sleep.

The car at the top is from the Columbia Short Subject "Violent is the Word for Curley."
