New car in the garage
I've been like a kid at Christmas, this morning I was so excited I couldn't sleep! Today was the day that reliable carriers delivered the 41 Mercury.

Re: New car in the garage
The problem with a car like this is: It's so beautiful that it would be hard to drive in todays traffic. Where would you park it? I worry allot.

I don't blame you, I'd probably be out in the garage with it all night. What a gorgeous car, they had so much class.

Love the 41 Merc. I was looking for a 41 Merc 2 door when I ran across the Ford which I couldn't pass up.

Considering what it would cost to get all that work done today, he pretty much did! Amazing car!

Nice! Looks like it has gone to a good home!
AND I LOVE your '36 Pickup The '35 and '36 Ford pickups are awfully hard to top everyone seems to love them. Nice to see one that looks stock not chopped up and painted clown colors like so many you see today. |

Re: New car in the garage
I would NOT have my car parked so close to those items you have stored up on the side wall cross beam!! Unless you have them secured with cables, even though, too close for comfort.
BEAUTIFUL CARS!!!!!

None of my “new” cars ever looked as good...I’m looking forward to when I make that leap to a pristine driver. 🙂 |

Re: New car in the garage
Was very happy to see that you got the convertible at the Mecum auction. Watched it on my tablet at work and was glad you posted that you had purchased it. You will always think of your Grandfather every time you take her out. He did great work on it and it will be something your whole family can enjoy for years to come.

Re: New car in the garage
Glad you were able to get your Granddad's car back. Happier to see that you didn't have to fight another bidder to get it (The buy of the century for that car by the way)!!! Enjoy as it is a fine example of a 41 Mercury!!!
