What a pretty roadster, a friend of mine had one in school and would probably give his life to have one again that was that nice. Beautiful ! Looks like you did better in Canada than I did for sure.

First of all , that looks like a great car! It amazes me how we all have different experiences with buying a vehicle out of the country. I have bought a few 34-36 Fords in the last 7 years from Canada and brought them back myself and it was know where that complicated. A couple forms in the customs office and a vin inspection was all that were required. All of the extra parts had no duty because they were Ford. Never spent more than an hour any time. Took paper work to Washington licensing office paid “book value” sales tax and had a title a few weeks later. These cars came from Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario which all seem to have their own paperwork ( which I had) but that was me and not a broker.

Beautiful car! I posted early on and recommended TSX, I made a mistake and meant TFX. Glad to hear they worked good for you also. TFX doesn't unload your car anywhere during the transport, they just stop along the way delivering the other cars in the trailer. Long way from BC to Cali! I bet your car is all the way in the front of the trailer.
