Default Value of Model A shocks

I just replaced my original model A shocks with new ones from Stipe. Three of the four old ones moved with good resistance and the 4th one moved with no resistance. What would these cores be worth? I plan to take them to Hershey and try to sell them. Thank you for your thoughts.

After I bought my Stipes I put my old cleaned ones on ebay with a low starting bid and let the bidders decide the price. They went for $325.00...

(Sorry for the thread drift...)

I wanted to buy Stipe shocks. In the end I wound up getting ones from Snyders. Is there a big difference in the two replacement shocks?

Stipes are rebuildable and are rebuilds of the original design. You can even put an original cover on them to get you closed to fine point.

The others are redesigned shocks that look like the originals on the outside but are completely different on the inside and are not rebuildable.

I cannot tell you which is better or which last longer.
