What kind of car is this?

The front bumper hooked to the springs and Headlight supports look non Detroit too, so I will look a bit more.

The one with the rear "hood" off is a Baker Electric and the (nicer) one near the wall is an Oldsmobile Electric.

I went thru the nethercutt tour years ago. Very nice collection. Huell Houser did a tour a couple of years ago. I met Nethercott years ago when he was taking 4 of his cars out on a "invite only tour" in northern calif. Nice old guy and liked to let everyone enjoy his cars.

Gordon Williams, an antique automobile restorer from Harvard, Illinois, finished restoring a Detroit Electric just before his death last August.

He equiped it with lithiom-ion batteries to save weight and increase battery durability.

That car had dual controls enabling it to be driven from either the front or back seat.

There are actually two Nethercutt Museums. They are across the street from each other and admission is FREE. The Tower Of Beauty is a guided tour that I believe starts at 10AM. you go through several floors of the late Mr. Nethercutt's building filled with cars, Lalique Crystal, Coin operated machines, and Organs.
The other museum is a large single floor building that is a self guided tour. Housed inside are somewhere around 200 vehicles, a research library and friendly employees.
