A picture of both sides of the head would be helpful.

MF stands for Michigan Foundry - a supplier of after market parts. The MF1 I think had a compression ratio of 5.5 or maybe 5.1. The MF2 had a ratio of 6.1 or 6.2. They were high compression heads but I don't remember the ratios exactly. Like the "police heads" they have the heart shaped combustion chamber.

With the head on a known good engine, take compression readings. Average all 4 readings and divide the average number by 14.7. The resulting number is an estimate of the compression ratio.

The compression ratio will be higher when the engine is running because there is a dynamic pressure not acting during the compression test. However, the cylinder head's compression ratio is determined with the engine not running.
