My latest were a couple of generic electric wiper motors working without synchronization. The one behind the glovebox was a breeze. But there is no glovebox... The one behind the instrument cluster was a nightmare of cutting, making spacers and grinding. If you go with electric, buy the kit with everything included like a template etc.

Newport Engineering makes a kit for a '47 p/u. Their stuff is top notch but a bit pricey. But they are only 12 volt.

Thanks for the replies. My restoration will be Period Correct, 6 Volt.
Did a little research today, now looking for 2each of the metal connection piece between wiper motor & wiper switch. You are right, i THINK the passenger side will be much easier!! Know anybody that has parts for sale?
Happy holidays!!

Rick, if the wiper motors are the same as '41 I have some old motors that need to be rebuilt. I'll send you the motors if you pay the shipping. send me a PM if you want them. Tom
