Default 1929 Briggs Town Sedan Upholstery

I have a 1929 Briggs Town Sedan and I have a LeBarron Bonney interior kit that I'm installing. I have a couple of questions about the windlace. On the piece of windlace above the doors, does the core of the windlace go over the doorpost windlace or are both windlace cores cut off so that there is no core in the corner but only the material? Also on the piece of windlace that goes around the headliner is that all one piece? And where does the seam go? Thanks in advance and have a Happy New Year

Hi,
I am restoring a 1930 Briggs Town Sedan. Please find attached some "as found" pictures, but I can not be sure whether the upholstery is original.
May be the pictures are of some help. I think the windlace on top had the core removed, the one below still had it. The windlace on top of the doors was one piece from front to back. The one above the windshield was only present as a few pieces, so I can not be sure.
Happy new Year, Michael

What Michael shows is indeed the remains of original trim. The pic below is a Murray but they followed the same practices. The trim welt is one piece across the front and one piece around the rear ending at each front corner.

The windlace varied whether the horizontal pieces or vertical pieces were installed first, but my original Briggs had the horizontals installed first as Michael's example shows. The tubular rubber core was always cut back just enough that it never overlapped at the corners.
