My 50 Ford coupe is very hard to park. Are there any tricks to help?

Be sure there is oil in he steering box. that the various grease fittings on the tie rod, etc, have been greased, and the tire inflation is correct. Beyond that, not much else can help. That is why the steering wheels were so large. We used to call it "armstrong" steering before power steering spoiled us all.

When I put new radials on my pickup it was like having power steering compared to before but, when stopped it is still harder to turn than a modern rig with power steering.

If you're not already doing it, always try to be moving even the slightest amount while turning the wheel will help some.

I find if I keep my tire pressure at 35 lbs (15 inch radials) it will steer and park much easier.

Check all the bolts where it attaches to the frame. If those bolts come loose or break where they go through the frame the box gets in a bind when you turn. this is a known problem with the 49-51 Fords. There has been a couple of articles in the V-8 Times regarding this issue.
