Default 33/34 Pick up Hinges

Pick up hinges ,Had a difficult time pressing these hinges out about 5 hrs so tried the fast way,by cutting deep .

The knurled section is only about 1/4" long, and if drilled they frequently come out. Now days the new knurled section is often turned down in diameter. Offset wear of pin will make the job more difficult. Later vehicles use an oil notch on body hinge, and spiral groves on pins. Newc

Thanks for the heads up News.I fabricated a puller a bit like the one here which has worked on light pushes, you use a drill shank because its hardened .When i restored my 35 in the 80s I fitted mirrors from Carpenters and first saw the knurled pins then ,the push rod is only 3/8
