This car is posted for the family of a long time Early Ford V8 Club member who has passed away.
This is a very rare and very original Ford Phaeton Deluxe (all steel). This car was purchased by Dick "Dicky" Smothers (of the Smothers Brothers) in 1966 and was driven by him the same year on Rt.66. The car was then placed in Harrah's Museum from the late 60's to 1985. Since then it has been privately owned.
The car has the original 1932 engine, and pans.
It is a dual side mount car with an original luggage rack.
All 6 tires are white wall with 18in wheels.
The car is in excellent condition and runs well with later intake and type 97 carb. Included with the sale of the car is the original manifold carb (Detroit Lubricator), a new, complete and still in the box Interior leather upholstery and top kit by LeBarron & Bonney and additional re-chromed rear bumper.
We have all original paperwork from Harrah's Museum. The car is located in the San Diego area.
