I personally like the glass bowl Holley 1 bbl carbs. don't know what your problem is, but if you are set on replacing it, Daytona Carburetor makes a replacement that is a new carb. , not a rebuilt one of what you have. it is supposed to be better that the one you have. I have no experience with them so I do not know much about it. Try this link and ck out their web site. https://daytonaparts.com/?gclid=CMT9...FUmRfgodDLAF9g

The Holley 1904 glass bowl carb can have a tendency to warp around the flange where the bowl mounts if people tighten the hold down clamp too tight. Then the gasket won't seal.
I have one of those on my '55 Ford Courier Sedan delivery wagon with a 223 I-block 6 and it had also been warped due to overtightening.
I heated the flange very carefully with a propane torch and put it in a vice to straighten the bent surface and it worked like a charm. Do not overheat or you will melt the malleable Iron main body.

BTW, I have also seen the new replacement type carb available at Daytona parts but it may require modifications to your gas pedal linkage. It is a universal replacement for many different years of 6-cyl engines.

Save money and just repair the glass bowl carb. They are easy to work on and you will still be original (if that matters to you).

Good advice from Daves55Sedan on de-warping the main body (die cast zinc), if that's the reason for the leak. Could just be a deteriorated bowl gasket too.
