Actually, very little motivations was made to the spindle. Outiside dimintions wwas reduced by 1/8" to clear the rotor, and longer studs were needed for the 16x7 rims. the stock 40'48 rims fit OK and will be used for street use, they look better. weight is alittle less than stock braked. Calaper is very heavy, so a lighter one would be better. But, remember the BIG tire will need a good caliper.

the reason why I like working on cars is, to make things. I never had the money to buy the "stuff". so I made them. I was converting GM distributors back in the 60's, because I couldn't afford the Mallory's. My next major project is a Hi compression cylinder head that is far superior to the aftermarket Alum ones. Hi compression, no spark plug interference. And much better breathing. Pete will remember these. AND much cheaper than the present crap. '
