1933 Ford standard roadster trunk
Hi there!
Does anybody have pics of inside the trunk, under panel above deck lid, original trunk hinges and braces on a 1933 Ford roadster or 3w coupe?? I own a 1933 Ford roadster who claims is a standard that came with factory trunk. The car was imported to Sweden from Argentina back in 2001 or so. The problem is that somebody in Argentina wanted a ute/rpu but only had a roadster so the panel above deck lid, deck lid itself and the panel below was removed to create cargo space... Everything but the hinges, hinge brackets, braces that goes under panel above deck lid and trunk inner panel was saved and came with the car. I will need to fabricate one half of the panel above deck lid, braces that goes from hinge brackets towards the seat and new rain gutters. Or if anybody have the pieces and are willing to sell? What i've seen the rain gutters are being reproduced and so is the hinge brackets if they are correct for roadster?? Regards. Viktor |

Try these ,the hinges go on a cast thingy that bolts to the 4 holes the long strut rivets to the triangle reinforcing each side on the tool box leg. The gutter takes the front part of the hinge ,its riveted .I do have some new cast parts left over .Ted

Thank you a lot!
How does the triangle reinforce looks from the other angle? How is the profile shaped? You have a PM about the parts. |

Do you have the panel inside the outer lower back panel used on the trunk models? While I do not have that panel available, I do have pair of the small transition fillers that go in the lower corners. I also have a spare original steel insert for the opening in the floor above the rear axle housing.

Viktor,
In your latest photo it would appear that you already have the brackets shown below (attached to the ends your original inner panel). |

Hello Walle, I guess that Jan Johansson in Sunne is capable of assisting you in some way.
