Default 30 Ford Coupe trunk latch

Can someone shoot me a picture of the trunk latch for a model A coupe? The piece on the car. 2 screws. Mine is worn and the repop looks a little different. Mine only has the two lower vertical screws. This is a trunk car.

I have a 1930 Coupe and the striker plate on my car looks exactly like the one in the photo you posted. I needed to shim mine a little in order to get the trunk lid to fit flush with the body panels but all in all it worked well. Any strikers I have seen take three screws.

Okay....I'm trying to figure out the third hole. I know the 2 vertical screws but mine don't have the single hole.

This may sound strange but you might just have to locate and drill that third hole after you get the trunk striker plate positioned using the two vertical screws and the trunk lid latches properly. When I bought my 1930 coupe the striker was badly worn and needed to be replaced. The trunk lid was also seated down inside the rear outer body panel when latched. When I installed the new striker I had to shim the assembly up nearly 3/16" to get the trunk lid to look right when latched. Then I had to make a 1/4" spacer to fit between the third hole on the striker and the body panel to fill the gap. I will take a couple of photos later today and post for you. Maybe they will help.
