Default 1935 rear axle code

My English coupe has the letter B stamped on the side of the banjo nose. Any ideas what that signifies?

Ford used a letter code to indicate the rear axle gear ratio.

numbers were used on this side of the pond. 9:37 and 9:34 were the most common.
