Default Off Topic: Wooden Roller Coaster at Santa Cruz

Severe atmospheric inversion last night at Santa Cruz Ca. Over 6" of rain in less than 2 1/2 hours. Flash floods took out the world class wooden roller coaster on the Boardwalk. Over 100 years old and gone in an instant.

I thought they had moved Santa Cruz to Oklahoma or Arkansas for that much rain.
Good, well thought out joke.

You might be able to buy a hunk! They do replace sections now and then. Everything is for sale... The Golden Gate Bridge cables were cut into souvenirs when it was replaced.... Candlestick Park seats recently sold to fans also!

It won't be long and they will b selling parts off the "new" bay bridge. You can have rusty bolts made into paper weights.
