Re: Project ford G48 from russia
Slava,
You body work skills look very good! I like where you have clamped the left fender to the right one to get the correct shape I assume? Great idea! The seats and steering wheel are looking finished! Interesting work on the new portion of the steering wheel base. You have touched many areas on the car and made good improvements. Looking forward to your progress. Regards, Chris

Re: Project ford G48 from russia
Slava, I have been following your progress on the '35 Ford, very impressive work you are doing.
I have a '36 5 window coupe that I have owned since1952, my car is basically stock Ford that has been upgraded through the years using '36- to '48 Ford parts, the majority of which bolt together. I have quite a stash of old Ford parts, mainly body parts. If I can be of any assistance to you with your project, just let me know.. Wm.

Re: Project ford G48 from russia
Hi! I hasten to share some good news with you!
After preparing all the elements, we again disassembled the car down to the frame and sent the body for sandblasting for better adhesion of subsequent materials. Thank you for your attention. I hope we can paint the car soon! |
