Default 1945 1/2 Ton Break Return Spring HELP

I’m trying to figure out where my break peddle return spring connects. I know where it connects to the break peddle. But, where does the other end of the spring connect? Does anyone have a photo?

Thanks for any help
Will

It connects to a tab bolted to the right side rear-most oil pan bolt.

Alright, please check out the pictures I took. I don't see anything to hook to except to hole indicated.

Also,
When in connect the spring to the hole by the transmission it pulls out the pin from the Master cylinder. Any ideas?

Thanks again for responding.
Will

Your pivot pin is reversed. The spring end will be inboard.
Here is a pic from the service manual showing the tab and where it is attached to the oil pan bolt. Your truck will be similar, even though this pic is from a car or earlier model pickup.

Sweet thank you so much! Now I can try and figure out where it’s really supposed to connect.

Can you tell me the ISBN for the service manual? That would make life so much easier.

eBay can still be good, time to time, but it's not like the old days, like the time I scored a complete Mallory dual point for an early hemi for $30.
