28/29 Coupe/Tudor garnish door pull trim
Could you use a 30/31 Tudor garnish door pull trim on a 28/29 Coupe/Tudor door? Of course I realize that it wouldn't be accurate for a restoration, but could it be done just to get by? It appears that the holes line up, but I haven't put screws in to confirm.

Not the same length . I'm on the way out to the barn I'll measure some . The 1930 coupe garnish are shorter by 3/4" - 7/8" and the screw holes won't line up .

Re: 28/29 Coupe/Tudor garnish door pull trim
Dennis, I know that the 30/31 Coupe trim are shorter.
The 28/29 Coupe/Tudor trim is slightly shorter than the 30/31 Tudor trim, but the 30/31 Tudor trim seems to line up with the holes on the 28/29 Coupe/Tudor doors. |
