Default 46 1.5 ton fan replacement

I could use some guidance on swapping the 4 blade fan for the 6 blade on my truck with the v8 engine. Would there be enough room to wiggle the fan out after removing the genny? Also, should I use some blue loctitie on the bolts that hold the fan to the hub? Thanks for any guidance offered.

I have no ton ana half, but if you remove the fan bolts first, then the gennie I cant see why it would not come out. As for loctitie, , I actually think the opposite. With the proper ford bolts and lock washers, I would put a drop of oil on each bolt because I may be the poor bastard that has to remove it some day. Pa. is about the same swamp I live in and I have squirt oil cans all over the shop so every bolt gets ONE drop of oil, even on my modern junk

I’ll remove the genny and give it a try. Not looking forward to laying over the fenders and lifting that thing out.
