Ever see a '36 roadster pick-up ?
My friend, Trevor Paulson, from Brisbane, sent to me, this link, on Australian E-Bay of a rare 1936 Roadster Ute. It seems that these are even rare in Australia.

Re: Ever see a '36 roadster pick-up ?
Gerald Thiele who was visiting NZ last year from Vernon Texas has one, that he restored. His ute was pictured on his business card and looks lovely in Washington Blue. I am not sure where these pictures came from so an unable to give credit to the photographer.

Re: Ever see a '36 roadster pick-up ?
By around 1936, the coupe ute was far more popular than the roadster ute in Australia, mainly because of the weather proof issues. It just comes down to what was sold in the day due to practicality and popularity.

I will take responsibility for this. I thought that I was in the V8 Section, when I posted this. Then, later, I went to look for it, in the V8 Section, and couldn't find it. Then I discovered what I had done. I then posted it in the V8 Section, thinking no harm was done. Sorry to have offended you. MIKE |

That is indeed funny because they were both posted at exactly 1:04 p.m. yesterday....so I guess later was at the same time !

If Ryan the administrator posted about a Ford Trimotor airplane, I don't think he will have a problem with this thread. Jeeez!

Re: Ever see a '36 roadster pick-up ?
This site is about Model A's...period. I don't want to read about a 57 Chevy or a trailer for sale. As members we must make it sacred. Why would somebody condone this abuse of the site ? Yes ( 0712 ) I can also say....jeeeez !
