Wondering if the B Pillars are same for a Coupe and a Sedan on a 30-31?

Thanks!

The doors are different widths if that helps. What are you trying to do?

I'm just seeing if all B pillars are the same for a coupe or a sedan? The post behind the door.

Jim, the correct term for that is the Quarter Lock Pillar.

The basic answer to your question is they are different. The 45B Coupe uses the A-46680-B/A-46681-B Pillar whereas the 55B Tudor uses the A-56674-B/A-56675-B Pillar.

Seems that no matter what the correct term for the part in question, most of us will still refer to the part as THE B PILLAR.

Well if you’re trying to look it up in parts list better call it what Henry’s boys called it.
Otherwise it’s a pretty tough search

Now I see the question was about 30-31!
