Default 39 rear spring

What is the measurement between the shackle eyes on a 39 pass rear spring prior to installation?
That is - in it's relaxed position lying on the shed floor.
Thanks,
Chris.NZ.

I would guess it could vary depending on the condition of the spring! Is it new, used, worn out, etc.

Looks new.
I'm just hoping it's the right one for the car.

swoopNZ: Would the number of leafs effect the measurement?

I'm not sure but I found an earlier post on this subject.
Around 40 inches seemed to be the answer.
Thanks,
