Default 1930 Coupe Windsield Garnish Molding Removal

I just need a little advice prior to tackling a new project. I have a 1930 Coupe and need to remove the garnish moldings on the inside of the windshield side posts (A Pillar). I know there are three screws to remove and the windshield bracket that retains the swing arm remains in place. In order to remove the garnish molding successfully it appears that I may need to remove the dash panel screws and tilt the panel forward to free up the bottom of the moldings. Has anyone removed these moldings and be able to offer any insight before I break out the tools? Any comments appreciated.
