Re: Rope on the back of front seat
The metal back should have D-nuts for robe rail end screws. Not all had robe rails. Std did not and some had a flap.

Re: Rope on the back of front seat
My seat is already upholstered but there was the rope included when I bought the car. I would like to know the location of the nuts if possible

Re: Rope on the back of front seat
Feel around with your fingers in the upper RH and LH corners, should be able to feel the D-nuts.

Re: Rope on the back of front seat
Gary
Here are pictures from my SW sedan of the approximate location of the 2 nuts per side. I used a needle to find them. The SW sedans used a different end on the lap robe rope than the straight window sedans. The screw is 1-1/8" - 10-32 oval head screw with the end pointed. good luck

Re: Rope on the back of front seat
Approx 2 1/8" down from the seat top, and 31" o.c between end brackets. 1 pair each bracket screws are horiz. approx. 1" apart. Use an upholstery needle to probe as Mr.Cilker suggests.
