Default Brake problem

Just starting to adjust brakes and the right rear adjusting wedge does not make any changes either forward or backward. I removed the drum and everything looks normal but the shoe does not move when turning the wedge. Never worked on brakes before so lost on what to check for.

Could be stripped threads? Do you see the adjuster turning in and out? It should click very noticeably while you turn it. Pictures could help.
