For sale: 1931 Model A Town Sedan. Early slant windshield body with flat firewall (not indented). All steel body structure, unlike earlier Town Sedans and Fordors with wooden framework. Probably built in the March-April, 1931, time frame. In typical “barn find” condition, never restored. The car is incomplete, but the major components are still present. A good candidate for restoration! Only the right lower cowl and the bottom of the right rear door are rusted through at the bottom. Otherwise, fairly decent sheet metal. Straight body, although leftside top side panel has numerous dents from vandalism during storage. Dual sidemounts with welled fiberglass fenders. Rear fenders are steel. Missing windshield frame and cowl lights. Window risers and door latches still present, as is the ratchet front seat adjuster. Rear valence still in place, which is often missing. Basically complete chassis minus shock absorbers and rear bumpers. Miscellaneous engine parts included not shown in photos. Needs complete restoration. Slant windshield sedans are solid, quiet and roomy. Great family car for parades, picnics and touring. Clear Iowa title. $3250 plus shipping. Price negotiable.
