Default Weight of complete transmission and bell housing

I need the Approximate weight of the transmission and bell housing And approximate center of gravity to help in removing them. I am in the process of replacing the clutch.

My notes say about 75lbs. Center of gravity would be just behind the parting line between bell housing and transmission but forward of the shift tower.

If you put a loop of cord around the throwout/bearing housing aft of the throwout and lead it up through the inspection plate removed and use this for your "pick" you will find it rear-heavy, but manageable for the pull.

Just was through this. Maybe even a little lighter than 75 or I am stronger than I think I am. When you reinstall it in the car it is definetely a two person job no matter which way you did it. I removed the rear end to do it on mine and I would say 3 people is best because I have one on the jack to jack it up to the flywheel while the other two keep it straight and make sure nothing gets hung up.

It might be 75lbs but I think it's a little lighter. I'm not a big guy but I picked up the assembly, got it through the passenger door and installed it by myself. One hand in the inspection cover hole, one under the rear bearing retainer, sitting in the front seat storage compartment.
