I did the Brent “thing” with my S/W......here are two better pictures. I chose to replace the www with blacks and I liked the new look better.

Blackwalls is my vote, IF and only if, I had purchased say, a roadster (deluxe) that had them I would run them till they wore out - then replace with blackies. A deluxe roadster with dual sidemounts would be perhaps the only A that in my opinion looks alright with W/W tires.

I would go with blackwalls if using tacoma cream, yellow or straw. For some reason,to me, those colors seem to go best.

The previous owner had whitewalls on since the '50's, I seen no reason to change.
Maybe later down the road, but for now I like it.
It is one of those big decisions every A owner has to make on their own.

I agree with Brian. The '30 and '31 roadsters seem to look better with whites but not the '28 & 29's. Probably has to do with the wheel size. The color of the car also comes into play. I think even a '30-'31 roadster painted black would not look right with whites. My wife also agrees and she's the one who drives ours.
