Default 32 cowl mounting front bracket

If someone could help identify the front cowl mounting bracket would bring joy. The question, is bracket worn to a taper or do I need to repair by adding weld and how does this mount to the frame over the firewall. Thanks, Pete

As shown in the photo below, the subject bracket does not touch the frame. It serves to tighten the cowl down and around the firewall via the two 7/16-20 x 2 1/4" hex bolts through the frame (one each side of the cowl).

Yes, there was flat welting between the firewall 'feet' and the chassis frame. There were two pieces of it about 1" x 2" per side. It was the same material and thickness as used between the body and the frame and the front fenders and the frame.
