Coolant Flow in a Flathead motor
Not trying to be dumb, but how does the radiator coolant flow in a 59 block? Does it go from the water pumps through the head to the upper part of the radiator to the bottom hoses back to the water pumps.
Thanks in Advance Bill |

The pumps move the cooler water from the bottom of the radiator into the the lower block. It is then forced up through block and exits at the heads to return to the radiator and repeat the cycle.
