12' bed strips....
Looking for 12' long bed strips. Tried Mack parts in Missouri but they only carry 8' lengths. Any ideas?
Thanks guys. |

Re: 12' bed strips....
you could buy the 8' and cut and weld 4' to it. I would try to find a truck bed builder/installer or local truck body repair shop and see if the are available new.

Re: 12' bed strips....
MarK in Oklahoma City and Carpenter both make their own strips, they may be able to do a 12' on special order. Northern Classic Trucks is another possibility.

Re: 12' bed strips....
Unless Dennis Carpenter has changed, they won't do special orders. I talked to them about cowl to fender rubber seal for a '41-'47 truck. I needed some for my '49 but they are longer than the earlier trucks, even though they make it there, they would not cut me a longer piece.

Re: 12' bed strips....
I would try my local sheet metal shop. Their business is shearing, rolling, and punching sheet metal.
