Default Oil cap

Just wandering if there was a screen like material inside of the oil filler cap to prevent little critters from getting down inside the engine. After dropping the oil pan on my AA truck I found a couple mice, well oiled. I use to count on my 18 lbs Tabby, “Spike”, to take care of these little critters, but now he’s 15 years old and spends more time sleeping in the flower beds.

Thanks for any advice.

I know, get another Spike!

You can jam some copper mesh into the top of the cap.
