Mirrors for coupe
My 31 coupe has a mirror on the top hinge drivers side. Really not working for me. What are some of the options or ideas that are being used by other coupe owners ? Pictures if possible. Thanks

Re: Mirrors for coupe
I was able to adjust mine adequately - the problem was with the passenger side. I've seen some posts for a 5" mirror - I was going to look for one and try it for the passenger side. I found it is tough trying to find an optimum angle to both see traffic on my right side, as well as seeing the fenders when I'm backing into the garage.

Re: Mirrors for coupe
I have that set-up, but have a door-post mirror on both sides and a rear view mirror as well. This set-up allows me to see back down the road 'and' to either side of my coupe. It takes a little adjusting with the door mirrors, but it works well. As we are usually traveling slower than most traffic the use of our windows is Always a necessity.

Re: Mirrors for coupe
I started with the 5" mirrors and I couldn't see anything worthwhile ----- so, I went to 6" round convex mirrors. Finally can see. The problems are: the mirrors are polished stainless and "items in mirror are closer than they appear" and they aren't original equipment. But, at least I can see. Install is simple -- remove one nut and washer. Remove old mirror stem; insert new mirror stem and install one nut and washer. Area of 6" = 28.26 sq. in.

Re: Mirrors for coupe
I found this larger rear view mirror glass was better than the original cloudy one, they have new brackets tool. https://www.mikes-afordable.com/product/A17704B.html . .I like these door mirrors that clamp on but not on the hinge.https://www.mikes-afordable.com/product/A17741U.html. Have you got a fender mount tire? https://www.mikes-afordable.com/product/B17700SM.html
