Model A Dude: Huh. I don't think I could even catch up to him.

Did you know that the SBC design was almost chosen to replace the Ford Flathead V-8, in 1954? It was designed by FORD ENGINEERS!!!

So are you saying that one of Ford's designs for their first overhead V8 resembled Chevrolet's first V8 design? If so, just a coincidence. Engineers come up with all kinds of experimental designs that never make production.

Don't forget the variable speed windscreen wiper (hand operated) anything from very slow or as fast as you can move your hands as well as the intermittent option.

Oh, and lets not forget the built-in navigation system, Wife in the front seat or Mother in-law in the rear seat.

I see it's either/or in your situation! You refuse to carry both at once??!! Brave man!

YEP, I even saw pics of it, in a Ford storage building!
It's FUN to tell a Hot Rodder or a Chev. owner, that his engine was DESIGNED BY FORD
"GOOGLE" it & see if you can pull up any info on it.

Don't know about Ford design but the SBC valve train (with stamped steel rockers) was "borrowed" from Pontiac.
