Default 1932 Ford Clutch Adjustment

I’ve done a search but didn’t really find the answer to my question. I’m starting from scratch on a 32 B Ford. Stock pedal assembly with B transmission. I have the B-7511 Early 1932 Clutch lever according to Vanpelts page.

Where can I find the initial starting adjustments for the clutch connecting rod. I get the 1” of free play. But what is the starting point, is the floor boards the reference point? If so, how far above the floor board does the stock pedal set. Thanks

The measurement starts from the pedal at rest with all the factory installed parts that allow the pedal to rest in the proper engineered position, such as toe board, pedal bumpers, and return spring. If you have modified or changed parts from the original it may be best to check on the HAMB.

The original starting point is with the pedal at rest against the rubber bumper on the underside of the lower steel #1 floorboard plate as Terry indicates.
