Default Holes above doors?

I'm looking for a Tudor body for my first street rod build, but most of the bodies I can find have a bunch of holes above the doors. Is that where the nails would go for the wood? How do I patch or get rid of those holes?

The holes are for the rain gutters . its a 2 piece system which sucks to take apart nicely. some put a black hidem in its place. there is a tacking strip thats nailed to the wood and then the rain gutter clips into it.

Oh ok. I'm wanting to do a metal roof for it, where can I get the part to cover the holes? Or are there rain gutters that can be welded on or something?

You might consider a stock roof with a wire attached to the chicken wire for a radio antenna (remember the chicken wire must be isolated from the body for this to work). Considering the time and money involved to get a good looking job I would leave the stock roof.

You might find better answers to your question on the web site that deals with modified cars and hot rods, HAMB
