Default '41 specific questions

Hi, this is my first post on Early V8 and I hope this doesn't sound like a what kind of oil do I use in my Model A? question.

As of this weekend, I am a proud V8 owner once again. I now own a '41 Super Deluxe Fordor. It runs but there's a few silly things like horn, gauges, and charging system that need my attention. Currently the car has an 8 volt battery installed which I plan to restore to 6 Volts. The previous owner left some boxes of new and used parts in the trunk and noted I should go to Mac's because they have everything.

So, that leads me to books. I've held on to the 41-48 service bulletins and the Ray Miller book but I'm guessing newer more detailed publications are out there.

What books would you recommend for someone wishing to maintain and revert a '41 car back to it's original condition?

Thanks, Tom Miller
