Ugh, I just threw up in my mouth.

I had a guy follow me in my '37 tudor a few weeks ago. When I finally stopped he pulled up and asked to buy it because he wanted to street rod it. In my mind I thought, I'll light it on fire first.

Yeah, we love these cars and trucks for what they are and not for what can be made from them. However, we relinquish that right of preservation when we pass ownership. The hard facts of life!

He has a disease called "terminal stupidity". Unfixable.

If the creator of this drawing wishes to build his "Lil' Tombstone" Rat Rod, tell him to buy a Reproduction Fibreglass Body and go his hardest.

If this '32 2DR was such a gem, how did this guy end up with it? Based on his drawing, it looks like all he really needs is the body shell and maybe the frame, so put those crying towels in the dryer and look on the bright side. There will be some very nice original deuce parts on the market soon.

First, some people have more money than brains. Second, he may have told lies to get it.....WHO knows. Maybe he just knew the people and was able to get it BEFORE they put it out on the market. AGAIN.....WHO Knows??? BUT, I even suggested.....for what he wanted to build, from the drawing, he could have used a Model A Tudor, OR 4 Door for that matter, there is any number of after market chassis that would more than fit his bill AND more suited and a lot less work to do than what his plans are. I have seen quite A few Model A bodies (only) for sale here of late and I would bet, quite a lot less scheckles than what he paid for the 32.....which reverts back to #1!!!! More money than brains!!!! IMO

Right on!
My guess is that this guy will do as rockfla suggested and find another source for parts to build his "dream" machine. That old '32 will go to someone better suited to own it.

This is getting off topic but the "rat rod" craze has faded away in my area. The folks that I knew that had them here have moved on. Most of them were unsafe to operate. One particular local put a hemi V8 in a model A rat rod. It rattled around so bad his transmission came unbolted going down the highway and resulted in a huge fail.
