The Ford Barn

Just thought our 32 big truck guys might appreciate this. I am on FTE (Ford Truck Enthusiasts) as well as the 'barn. OK, the barn wins out every time as the FTE guys like a volare front clip etc from time to time. Can't do a link but you can probably see it. It's a time capsule, at least for now..........

Gol Dangit you are correct. I have had a 32 BB and later a 34 bb and the 34 was the first year of a full floating rear axle, and this does have a full floater like every big truck since. But it is one good looking truck...

I am not a expert at all picking out the years. But when looking at the yellow wrecker I noticed V8 hood badges, which I understand would have made it a rare bird as a 32.
I have to check in over on FTE too. I see you there. Its a good forum but the Ford Barn is way better for details/ information, on our older trucks.
I was thinking of you when I was doing some running board repairs yesterday. As I put the final patina on, your comments were guiding me!

That wrecker from the UK is very nice too! looks like headlights have been changed?

The exterior characteristic of the cab that is unique to the '34 version is the extra stamped molding on the back panel to accommodate the higher seat back cushion inside the cab.

Current stable consists of 1946 1/2 ton pickup turned woodie wagon with FH V8, 1947 Tonner Pickup (red) mostly stock with exception of a cummins 6at turbo diesel, 1946 Tonner Pickup (green) with 226 cu in 6 cyl flathead, 1979 Toyota landcruiser wagon, completely encased in 1947 Ford Jailbar sheet metal.
