Default Stromberg 48 Float setting

Could someone please advise the correct float setting for the 48 Stromberg.
Foolishly I let one of my friends clean out a carburettor for me and they decided they would take the opportunity to reset the float level. Need to return it to spec-Thanks Karl

Float level: Measure down 9/32" from the outside body gasket surface to the top of the free end of the float, just adjacent to the hump. Bend the tang accordingly.
When finished, it will be slightly lower than level.
This usually gives the magic 15/32" Fuel level.

Thanks for posting this Max. Would we use this same procedure for setting 40, 97, and 81 Stromberg Carbs?

I had trouble with seepage from the three bottom plugs on my Stromberg 48 and I fitted nylon washers on them and that fixed that. Place a little bit of gasket goo on threads 'only' on the small brass screw. Refer to previous thread on this subject.

Uncle max says measure down 9/32" from the face of the gasket surface to the top of the free end of the float opposite the float needle just adjacent to the hump on top of the float, to get the float level 15/32" to the fuel level from the gasket surface. Where should the float be, What does he mean, I cannot get that measurement on a Stromberg 48 carburettor.
