Default Stromberg 48

I have been running a Stromberg carburettor from an early Holden engine for years but I've recently learned that a Stromberg 48 would be better. I have never seen one here so I'm turning to you guys in the hope that someone might be able to help me find a rebuilt one. I'm posting here rather than in the "Wanted" section of the swap meet because it seems to me that there might be someone who restores them and might be able to supply one without a core.
BTW, the 48 has 2 venturis, each the same size as the one (single venturi) I am using now.
I'd also like to hear experiences from those who have used them..
